Updated at 4:05 p.m.: Judge Ray Wheless granted a motion by Deion Sanders' attorney, Larry Boyd, to continue the trial to another date.
He told the court that delays related to weather last week put him behind and he wasn't prepared to proceed. In addition, the attorney for Pilar Sanders filed several motions with the court today that they wanted time to review.
The NFL broadcaster and former Dalllas Cowboy did not attend Monday's proceedings. The attorney for Pilar Sanders, Bobbie Edmonds, said she was surprised Deion Sanders didn't show.
